What we collect to make a match, and what happens to it after.
What we collect
Your contact number, your child’s level and subjects, the hours you’re free, and the short feedback you send us after lessons begin. That’s what matching, small-group formation and the Teaching Record run on. Nothing more.
Why we collect it
Each field does a job. Level and subjects find the right tutor. Your free hours filter the shortlist to people who actually fit your week. Feedback builds the Teaching Record, the plain-language evidence every tutor is shown with.
How it’s protected
Personal data is encrypted at rest. Tutors see only the limited student details needed to assess fit, never a surname, an address or a phone number. Contact details stay withheld until both sides accept the same terms and we give final approval.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold, correct it, or withdraw it, any time. Message the Concierge from your account and ask, with no form and no waiting on a data officer. We reply the same way we reply to everything else.
Retention
We keep your data only while it’s useful to you, while you’re matching, while a small group runs, or while a tutoring engagement continues. Ask us to delete it and we will, in full, unless the law requires us to keep a record.
